Content that is not accessible
This website does comply in part with the law governing accessibility to digital public services, due to the problems described below.
Non-compliance with the legal requirements
Problems when accessing from a mobile device or a small screen
- The web site is not responsive so the users need to scroll horizontally when using a mobile device. [WCAG 1.3.4(AA)]
Problems for many users
- Auto-complete do not works for input fields and the fields are not marked with type of content. As the current code structure demands a great effort to fix we will change this when a major upgrade of the web site is done. WCAG 1.3.5(AA)]
- The web site does not have a site map WCAG 2.4.5(AA)]
- Many of the PDF: s on the site is generated from the tool Reporting Services. This tool has some limitations that makes it impossible to do all required changes regarding accessibility. Is it not possible to add a title 2.4.2 (AA)]. The elements i PF: s is not tagged with role and name but there is an ongoing work to improve this.
- The tagging from column- row titles do not remain when a document is exported from Reporting Services to PDF. Therefore, we cannot make an adaption of this. WCAG 1.3.1(A)]
- The navigation is not always consistence. Some of the links opens in a new window, without the user to be aware of this. We are currently look at this to have a consistence navigation all over the web site. WCAG 3.2.3 (AA)].
How we tested the website
The Swedish Research Council asked an external actor to carry out an independent review of Prisma.research.se. The review scrutinised a number of representative pages and important features. The review was delivered in the form of a report on February 7 2019. The Swedish Research Council tasked another external actor to make corrections. This actor made and reviewed the corrections, and delivered them on [datum och år]. Ahead of the delivery of these corrections, the Swedish Research Council also carried out its own testing.
The main reasons why accessibility problems still remain on Prisma.research.se are that the problems are either of a type that requires major resources to correct, or of a type that we do not yet know how best to correct.
It is our ambition to have corrected all known accessibility problems no later than December 31 2025
New features and other factors that can create accessibility problems are reviewed continuously by the Swedish Research Council.
The website was published in 2016.
The accessibility report was updated most recently on September 8 2020.
